Before Photography

For March's First Friday in Downtown York, I visited some of my favorite galleries to check out the new show openings for the month. I especially love First Fridays in York, as it was one of my first experiences in Downtown York back in 2016. This month's shows did not disappoint. During a sweet exchange with a gallery owner, she mentioned still regretting not purchasing my bathtub painting nearly 9 years ago, which reminded me of one of my earliest passions for art.

Although I don't paint as much these days, I wanted to create this short post to immortalize one of my first artistic loves and the pieces of art that accompanied me through many periods of transition and expression, created between 2015-2017.
