Tulle Queer: A One Night Photo Exhibition & LGBTQ+ Art Market Coming to Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Mark your calendars! Tulle Queer is making its annual return to Lancaster next month, for one night only on June 7th! Don't miss out on being the first to witness the latest series of photographs by Lancaster, PA based artist Brady Pappas. This year’s theme, House of Tulle aims to immortalize some of the 717’s most legendary queer icons who are shaping the cultural landscape of small-town life in South Central Pennsylvania.
About the Artist
As a non-binary artist, Brady Pappas uses the camera as a tool to illuminate the queer culture thriving within overlooked small towns and cities in Pennsylvania. Through their lens, Brady captures the essence of community with unparalleled intimacy, immortalizing everything from drag shows to dance parties and the camaraderie found in LGBTQ+ spaces.
Beyond the dance floor, Brady creates the images they’ve always dreamed of seeing in the world through Tulle Queer, an annual exhibition launched in 2022. This colorful collection of photos, adorned with tulle fabric, pays homage to Brady’s chosen family, the array of LGBTQ+ icons shaping Central PA’s cultural landscape, and anyone who’s ever felt too queer. each year, a new cast and collection of images are released exclusively on June First Friday for Pride Month.

Explore tooth gems, flash tattoos, tarot readings, live music, and mesmerizing drag performances, all contributing to a dynamic atmosphere for everyone.
