Film Photographs from My Best Friend’s Wedding Day

I’m not a wedding photographer, but when my best friend got married in October and asked me to document her special day on film, I couldn’t resist stepping in to play the part.

For this intimate wedding, I shot 4 rolls of 35mm film—2 rolls of Kodak Gold 200 for vibrant color and 2 rolls of Ilford HP5 Plus Black & White for a classic touch. From the ceremony in a park, to a golden hour stroll through Downtown Lancaster, followed by dinner and drinks, I had the privilege of documenting a day that felt both personal and special to immortalize through my lens.

Shooting film is something I truly enjoy for the way the film stock shapes the final image. The colors, the grain, the natural imperfections—they all add a unique, authentic quality to the moments I captured.

Though I’m not offering wedding photography services, I’m grateful I had the chance to gift these memories to my friend, and I’m excited to share them here with you. Enjoy!

Congrats to Lauren & Brice!
